Allegro is closed for submissions until 1st December 2024.
Only submit during the submissions windows: 1 June - 31 July, 1 December - 31 January.
Poems pasted in the body of an email. No attachments.
No simultaneous submissions or previously published work. Previously published includes appearance on personal websites or blogs that are visible to the public.
Maximum four poems per submission.
Maximum length for each poem 40 lines.
Include a third person biography maximum 50 words.

As a free magazine Allegro Poetry Magazine has no income and so cannot pay contributors.
Once your work has been published by Allegro Poetry Magazine you are free to use it elsewhere but please credit Allegro Poetry Magazine as the place of first publication. Please be aware that Allegro is permanently archived by the British Library.
